Why we are so quick to judge others, why we do not let everyone be happy in their own way - I think the only unbreakable rule is to "love thy neighbor as thyself."

Since they were little, I told my daughter and son we were all equal, no one is above or below anyone - everyone is equal.
I said and still say if someone cut the veins and blood comes out blue - that person was different otherwise we were all equal!

No one is or has to be second-class citizen. I understand that before there was too much taboo and very little information, but what is the excuse now? We hope that Generation G is smarter, more open and less discriminating…

I found this video through my daughter's facebook, watched the video and I felt so proud to see her comment "this has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen ... Seriously in tears right now! Everyone is a beautiful creature, God Makes No Mistakes. Let us all be equal. "
At least the new generation in my house, understand and accept with open arms that we are all equal and that enough is enough....

The film Miss Representation exposes how American youth are being sold the concept that women and girls’ value lies in their youth, beauty and sexuality. It’s time to break that cycle of mistruths.

In response we created MissRepresentation.org, a call-to-action campaign that seeks to empower women and girls to challenge limiting labels in order to realize their potential.

We are uniting individuals around a common, meaningful goal to spark millions of small actions that ultimately lead to a cross-generational movement to eradicate gender stereotypes and create lasting cultural and sociological change.

How We Are Making A Difference Together
Using social media, women and girls are speaking out, telling their stories and influencing change. Men and boys are standing up to sexism, counter hyper masculinity and champion women as leaders.
Schools are using the Miss Representation‘s Curriculum to educate youth around media literacy and to inspire and activate students to make change.
Communities are hosting screenings and discussions to shift the cultural mindset around gender and end sexism.
Consumers are using their power to celebrate positive media and advertising, and challenge negative media and advertising.
Our partners include six nationally recognized non-profits: Women’s Media Center, White House Project, Girls Inc., Girls for A Change, Step Up Women’s Network and International Museum of Women.

The winners of the 'Ferrari World Design Contest 2011' have been announced at the ferrari complex in maranello, italy.

The competition challenged students from fifty design schools across the world to create the ferrari of the 'third-millennium man', a hypercar whose design reflects social changes and technical innovation without sacrificing the brand's performance and iconic appearance.
Over the four months from november 2010 through february of 2011, over 400 projects from over fifty schools were submitted to the contest, seven universities of which were shortlisted for participation in the five-month second phase of the event.

First, second, and third prizes for the design award were as follows:

1st prize - 'eternità' concept, by hongik university (seoul, south korea) - kim cheong ju, ahn dre, lee sahngseok

2nd prize - 'xezri' concept, by istituto europeo di design (turin, italy) - samir sadikhov

3rd prize - 'cavallo bianco' concept, by royal college of art (london, UK) - henry cloke, qi haitao.
The jury also awarded two special awards alongside the top three prizes: the 'autodesk technical award for exemplary technical usage of the alias software, which was awarded to the first prize hongik university team, and the 'most unexpected technological solution',
awarded to the team from china's jiangnan university for its 'drake' concept.

As I get older, I noticed that nowadays I am having mix feelings. (happiness/sadness)<br />I remember when I was in Nicaragua, surrounding with all my family members (two of my brothers passed away) and being careless, happy with no worries.
