TOMS Shoes - One Day Without Shoes. Join Us April 10, 2012!
ON APRIL 10 GO WITHOUT SHOES
SO KIDS DON'T HAVE TO!
Millions of children grow up without shoes and at risk of disease and infection. One Day Without Shoes is the day we raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life. Last year, people went without shoes at over 1,000 events in over 25 countries around the globe.
On April 10, assemble your group and take'em off. Whether you're taking a walk, playing game, hosting a meeting, or having a BBQ, a group of barefoot people always sparks curiosity. Curiosity leads to conversation, and conversation to awareness and action. Pretty soon you're changing lives just by walking down the street, eating lunch or playing a pick-up game.
Whether you're part of a local band, the London fire brigade, Mrs. Gordon's 5th grade class, or the Silverlake Swim Club, assemble with the people you cherish most and make a stand. Do what you do but do it without shoes for one day to spread awareness of why shoes are crucial to a better tomorrow.
